UNLV AMA Winter Break Projects
Hello AMAers,
While winter break is in full effect and everybody is enjoying some time off from classes, we at UNLV AMA are still working hard! We have a handful of projects we are currently working on over the break and would love to have a few more members involved. Here are a few things we are currently working on:
AMA Regional Conference
The UNLV AMA is proud to be hosting the 2018 regional conference in Las Vegas. Schools from around the country are invited to join in on marketing competitions, networking seminars, etc. We currently need help setting up events and scheduling / allocating rooms for said events. Variety of Southern Nevada's Oscar's Viewing Party
The Variety of Southern Nevada is a non-profit organization that hosts the official Oscar's Viewing Party in Las Vegas. They have tasked us with "millennializing" the party and attracting a younger demographic (18-24). We're also tasked with finding local Las Vegas celebrities to attract millennials, as well as be a part of the PR event. For more information please contact us through the email below.

Finals Week is Here!
On behalf of everyone in AMA, we wish you good luck on your finals! We have had such an incredible semester, with so many active and intelligent students.

Last General Meeting of the Semester!
Hello AMAers,
Join us at our next and FINAL meeting of the semester! The first half will be for case team members. The second half will be for all current members and anyone who is interested in joining.
We will be having a guest speaker during the general meeting. Jacob Gallegos, from Mobilesoft Technology Inc., will be speaking about the experience of working as a marketing director for a tech based company.
Jacob Gallegos has a background in Creative Directing, Marketing, Design, and Videography. Jacob helps brands achieve their goals by providing results-driven films, copywriting, design, and marketing solutions to move people’s emotions, compel sales, and retain customers.
When: Tuesday, November 21st
Case Team Meeting: 5:30pm-6:30pm
General Meeting : 6:30pm-7:30pm
Where: Student Union Room 205
Meeting Today!
Today marks our first official meeting of the semester/year. The meeting will be held in the Student Union, in room 205 from 5:30-7:30pm. All students and majors are welcome to join. During this meeting we will be accepting new member applications. The first half of the meeting will be for current board members and those who are interested in becoming a board member. The second half, starting at 6:30pm, will be a general meeting for new and current members. If you cannot make the meeting, please email us and we will let you know what we covered. We look forward to seeing everyone!
